Freeway Construction Closures on I-215

SAN DIEGO -- Overnight freeway closures for bridge construction are scheduled on Interstate 215 between North County and the Riverside area starting Monday night.The planned closures will result from construction at the Linnel Lane overpass, according to Caltrans.The northbound 215 will be closed from Clinton Keith Road north to Scott Road Monday night and Tuesday night.
Southbound lanes of the 215 will be closed from Scott Road south to Clinton Keith Road on Wednesday and Thursday nights.The freeway lanes will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. and will reopen at 6 a.m. the next morning, Caltrans said.Local detours will be posted, and through-traffic between San Diego and Riverside can detour on state Route 91 and Interstate 15 to bypass the construction zone entirely, according to Caltrans.
